Join us for our annual Family Council Picnic, "Play It Again, Murph!", on National Grandparents' Day, Sunday, September 12^th from 4:30 - 6:00. Riverview will provide fabulous entertainment and the yum-licious dinner portion of the menu, but we ask all families to bring a pie of their choice to share. Thanks for sharing your baking (or shopping) skills with our residents, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Here's the new summer issue of our newsletter, Riverview Ripples, showcasing our Midsummer's Ball, Dog Show, Happy Face Place Reading Picnics, and all the other fun happenings at Riverview this summer. If you'd like to impress your kids with how "tech-savvy" you are (thereby receiving our newsletter via email), please email us and we'll add you to the online list. Save a tree and a postage stamp! We are so proud of the consistently excellent care provided for Riverview's residents, including our award-winning Social Services department. Virginia Haman, Riverview's Social Services Designee, was named the recipient of the "South Dakota Health Care Association's 2008 Social Services Award." Riverview is honored to have Virginia as an advocate for our residents, and we celebrate her achievement!
