Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a rural long-term care
facility located at 611 E. 2nd Avenue, Flandreau
SD, is now accepting applications for full-time (40 hrs/wk) nursing assistant positions. Nursing Assistants provide personal care and
assistance to residents as needed and perform many tasks which do
not require previous professional training or education such as:
responding to the emotional needs of the residents and assisting
with services that ensure the residents' well-being and safety;
assisting with the rehabilitation & restorative care of
residents; providing complete care or partial assistance for
residents with tasks they are not able to perform for themselves;
and instructing residents in self-care skills as feasible to
enable them to retain their highest possible level of
independence. Nursing assistants, as well as all Riverview staff,
are responsible for treating residents, visitors and co-workers
with respect, courtesy and cooperation at all times. Starting
wage for this position is $8.26/hr; but may be higher depending
