Riverview toasted the New Year as residents, their families and friends, and our staff celebrated the beginning of 2009. With entertainment provided by the "Flip Side" and fabulous hors d'oeuvres courtesy of Riverview' s incomparable culinary department, we opened up the New Year in style.

A very special thank you to our wonderful Filipino friends and staff (aka "The Flip Side") for providing a year's worth of entertainment and fun in one evening's time. They helped us "ring in" the New Year - at some points quite literally - as they assembled a complete orchestra without (almost) any instruments, danced, and sang to our residents' delight. After they closed out the evening with a stirring rendition of "Let There Be Peace on Earth," we were thankful and honored that our friends had once again generously shared their New Year's Eve (and a whole year's joy) with Riverview's residents. |
