2006 Family Council Picnic Riverview's 21st annual Family Council Picnic, "Hearts in Harmony," brought together residents, their families, and many friends to celebrate National Grandparents' Day on September 10th. Despite the chilly weather, over 280 loved ones gathered to enjoy an afternoon of indoor picnic festivities, complete with hotdogs, barbeques, potato salad, baked beans, and a plethora of fresh, homemade pies. |

It may have been gray outside, but inside, spirits were anything but dreary as bright blue, green, and purple balloons, hearts, and other decorations created an uplifting and fun atmosphere. Dessert was followed by yet another treat, a spectacular concert from Sioux Falls' 25-member barbershop chorus, "The Sioux Emperians."
